Join the team defining and building the future of High Speed Data services for the largest broadband provider in the country. As a senior product manager in the Digital Home product team, you will support a newly launched product that is scaling to millions of customers in the second half of 2017.
The Digital Home team is launching a game-changing new product that will span across millions of homes in the US. This product provides a true digital experience for the home network and provides unparalleled management and insight into the home network. This role will support our newly launched product by analyzing user feedback, understanding user issues, defining modifications, figuring out product solutions and improvements to the product, and of course prioritizing bugs. This person will need to dive into customer issues and make critical decisions for feature enhancements.
The ideal candidate will have direct experience with home networking products, Wi-Fi routers, and a keen interest in cloud-connected devices.
In this role, you will:
Translate high-level product requirements into detailed user stories
Manage JIRA backlog across multiple development teams
Write bug descriptions and prioritize bugs for development in JIRA
Coordinate with UX team to deliver complete feature requirements to engineering
Drive requirements with engineering, operations, and support
Monitor, analyze, and prioritize customer feedback and issues
Navigate large organizations and cross-functional teams
Experience working in Agile process with participating in daily scrums essential. Team pushes code every 2 works.
Agile development environment, matrix engineering organization
Comfortable working with geo-graphically dispersed teams
Undergraduate degree in Engineering (preferably Computer Eng, Electrical Eng)
Technical understanding and experience with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
Technical understanding of home networking and wireless routers
Passion for consumer, home networking and IoT products
Experience working on mass-consumer products
5 years of total work experience.
Exceptional communication skills are essential
Highly motivated and can work in fast-paced teams
