Job Summary:

Responsible for managing the operation for small advertisers to have the opportunity to reach customers in their retail trading areas. Develops a strategic roll-out marketing initiatives including internal and external client communications and events.

Core Responsibilities:

- Oversees the hiring, training, evaluating and assisting of a motivated staff to carry out marketing functions.

- Develops relationships with networks to expand online media and network promotions on the regional level.

- Writes presentations and proposals that meet clients’ needs and budget requirements

- Works with sales management in developing business pitches and sales presentations that support the product value proposition.

- Provides monthly and quarterly marketing reports.

- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities/Qualifications:

-Establish automotive sales strategy for local sales team

-Must have direct experience with automotive dealers and knowledge of the industry

- Expertise in automotive/advertising/consumer research tools and digital automotive advertising products preferred

-Ability to establish strong relationships with automotive dealers and advertising agency contacts

-Directly supervise a team of automotive account executives and support personnel

-Direct the automotive sales activities of the entire local sales force

-Develop the sales team’s overall competency in automotive dealer sales through training and coaching

-Collaborate with the local sales leadership team, regional/national sales leadership and Division leadership to drive results

- Bachelors Degree or Equivalent

- Marketing

- Generally requires 7 years related experience
