Job Summary:

Responsible for supporting the Managers and Directors of the Sales Operations team in the West Division in the analysis and evaluation of operational performance metrics and resources. Works with Sales and Sales Support teams within the West Division to analyze, articulate, and document sales processes. Maps metrics against the Sales Support organization's operational plans and tactical/strategic goals to ensure alignment and focus. Creates and facilitates reporting and analysis to evaluate operational initiatives and drive operational efficiencies. Develops and maintains standard reporting measures, quantitative explanation of relevant data, and ongoing analysis of alternatives and solutions. Quantitatively evaluates and recommends action plans, based on all operational reporting and analysis in order to enhance the customer experience and drive operational efficiencies. Initiates and implements improvements to current processes while also providing a strong base of knowledge of BAU. Works daily in Sales systems and tools such as, CPQ and Century.

The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into effective business decisions benefitting all regions in the West Division.

Core Responsibilities:

-Evaluates sell-out levels and make proactive recommendations to maximize revenue from available inventory and in a manner that serves clients' needs.

-Conducts analyses of inventory, rate, and sales practices to develop sales product efficiencies.

-Works with and advises the Manager on weekly rate cards based on inventory skims.

-Collaborates with cross-functional management to develop, evaluate, and recommend technical and systematic procedures that make process flow more efficient for the organization as a whole. Identifies problems and recommends solutions.

-Partners with Sales Support Representatives to help facilitate the completion of accurate work. Provides oversight to overall sales support processes and offers necessary guidance.

-Assists with the training and mentoring of new and existing Product Support Analysts on all sales related procedures and paperwork requirements.

-Keeps abreast of sales strategies, trends, initiatives, and best practices within the Company and competitive landscape.

-Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

-Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

-Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Education Level- Bachelors Degree or Equivalent

Field of Study- Analytics, Marketing, Business

Years Experience-Generally requires 2-5 years related experience

Additional Responsibilities:

-Build and maintain Key Performance Indicators that measure the reach, effectiveness and impact of sales support, documentation directed at intended audience(s).

-Highly detailed, critical analysis of performance metrics and other related sales operations data to drive and implement improvements.

-Create job aids/ reference documents/ methods & procedures/ process documentation using Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio.

-Translate multi-functional processes into end user content.

-Interpreting data, analyzing results, and identifying trends using statistical techniques and providing ongoing readouts of performance metrics and other process related sales items to the regions in the West Division.

-Assist in building and maintaining end-user documentation library and reference lab.

-Build scenario-based sales documentation use cases addressing the customer's experience as well as internal-teams experience.

Additional Requirements:

-Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency: Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Visio

-Familiarity with Tableau preferred

-Highly preferred: Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge

-Demonstrated ability to communicate in both verbal and written communication

-Basic knowledge and understanding of Comcast systems and business concepts
